The Hamilton County Drug Court emphasizes treatment for participants rather than a prison sentence. Problem solving courts, like this one, are becoming more popular across the country and are actively trying to address and treat the underlying reason for continuing criminal behavior. Participants in this program are required to complete addictions treatment, attend twelve step meetings and report to both probation and the court much more often than a typical probation. This increased structure in conjunction with treatment and support group meetings help participants live a sober life and reduce their chances of recidivism. I am proud to be Defense Counsel for this program. Please contact me to if you have any questions about this program or to discuss eligibility.
